With the majority of adult Christians in our great nation struggling with their weight and health, many people are looking for a proven weight loss plan that works. With so many products on the market, it becomes confusing and sometimes overwhelming choosing the one that might work best for you.
I recently watched a video about the Salvation Diet and after purchasing it online, I decided to offer a personal review so others can see if it follows its promise of fast weight loss, more energy, a healthy body free of pain and disease.
Who is behind the Salvation Diet program?
Chris Walker is one of ‘us’. He doesn’t profess to be a scientist, physician, trainer or even a nutritionist. Perhaps most importantly, he is a 42-year-old believer and follower of Jesus Christ who sought answers for himself when it came to building a better body to serve his family and the Lord.
After ballooning to 278 lbs. He felt the shame and lack of self-esteem, so many others in his situation have felt. He knew he had to make and honor commitments to himself if he was ever serious about service to others. Yet he also knew he was letting everyone down including himself.
He started on his own path to losing in excess of 100 lbs. And he looked and felt better than ever before. His pain went away, and he was able to serve his family, serve as a role model for others in the community and strengthen his faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
It is now his mission and passion to help 1,000,000 Christians lose weight and get in the best shape of their lives through a transformational journey they will never forget.
What are the program highlights and big takeaways?
You can tell Chris Walker poured his heart and soul into making this a comprehensive weight loss program that is filled with specific diet and nutrition information to help you lose weight as well as get you back in the shape you need to best serve the Lord.
When your body is broken, diseased, in pain or discomfort, or weak, it is not what God intended for you or your life. This program sets you free from the guilt and shame you may be feeling and helps you unleash the best version of yourself that you’ve always wanted to be.
I found the Salvation Diet to be so much more than a diet plan. While it is intended to help you lose rapid weight, it is also set up to help create a truly transformational experience to get your body and mind right with the Lord.
Here are some of the program highlights:
1. The 7 days of Creation Diet is a simple, easy to follow diet plan designed to help you lose from 10 pounds to 50 or more. I love his real food approach and also the biblical references he makes to show you what Jesus himself intended for you to eat. All of his food principles follow specific recitals from the Bible so you can follow along if you like.
2. There were quite a few extra motivational and inspirational resources, tools, games and worksheets for you to follow. These were designed to provide even more guidance and motivation in case you get stuck along the way.
3. Chris Walker set up a program for each stage of fitness level. You could not work out at all or have some exercise experience, and he offered exercise guidance for several varying situations depending on your starting point.
4. Losing sleep or focus are significant reasons that take good Christians away from their mission and sabotage their weight loss efforts. He teaches how to rejuvenate your body and mind and maximize your energy levels to get even more pounds off your body.
What do I get when I purchase the Salvation Diet program?
Most people want to know exactly what they get when they purchase the Salvation Diet. After purchasing the program, you will receive a private access to the dashboard.
If you want to see exactly what looks like this, you can see a screenshot of the inside.
The program is filled with 7 full modules so you can lose the most amount of weight, regain your energy and get your body (and mind) back on track.
Module 1 is the Introduction. It has a video introduction by Chris Walker, and it helped to make a much more personal connection with him. He set the tone for the ‘why’ of your upcoming transformation. He talked in more detail about his own transformation explaining the pitfall, setbacks, and frustrations. He also introduces a clever game you can play with yourself, and you record on a spreadsheet for faster weight loss.
Module 2 provides daily verses and a 40-day prayer guide. Each day you are given a bible verse that provides inspiration, motivation and even spiritual guidance.
Module 3 is all about rejuvenation. If you have trouble concentrating, sleeping or staying focused, then you’ll love this section. We get to hear another video segment which became one of my favorite parts.
Module 4 is the actual diet and nutrition plan to follow. There were 5 meals provided daily or 3 meals with 2 snacks. I liked the combinations of foods and the actual food choices. One of the things I hate most about trying a new diet is learning you have to buy at some overpriced natural food store. Definitely not on this plan. The food was healthy, but delicious foods that were packed with good nutrition. Module 4 also had a lot of other valuable tools like a Food Forgiveness Journal, 12 ways to enjoy Living Water, and a detailed Grocery Cart to make shopping easier.
Module 5 is dedicated to exercise suggestions to get the most of your results. It included how to start a program if you’ve never exercised before as well as how to progress to a few levels past that. It also has a Weekly Exercise Journal I thought was perfect.
Module 6 was about serving others. It was a great reminder that this program isn’t just about losing weight. It really is designed to bring you back closer to God and your family by solidifying your commitment which starts with yourself. Pretty powerful, right? You get a list of 101 ways to serve others.
Module 7 explains how to be your best self. It also has a video segment and an emotional one. As Christians, we want to make the greatest impact on our life and others. That is what God wants for us and what we want for ourselves. He describes 12 steps you can take today to make a bigger impact in your life.
When you place your order, the merchant processor who takes your credit card information is called Clickbank. It is considered one of the most trusted names for merchant accounts so you won’t have to worry. They accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Paypal.
Is it expensive?
Yes…and no. The program cost is $47. I have seen these kinds of programs range from $39 to $190. But to be fair to this program, you usually get an instant ebook at the lower price which many people don’t like. This is an actual system or full program which spells everything out in 7 Modules so it offers quite a bit more. One other really important note, this program has a 365-day money back guarantee. When you try and compare that to almost every other program at 60 days, this becomes pretty ridiculous in making you a believer.
Pros of the Salvation Diet
There are two really important things that stood out to me with this program. It’s not just a diet. It’s truly a lifestyle modification program that allows you to eat most of your favorite foods while empowering you to lose weight and strengthen your faith at the same time! That’s a system that is hard to come by.
Secondly, it walks you through an entire process that allows you to recite daily inspirational verses, record notes that resonate with you in separate worksheets and follow a day to day eating plan that has some awesome foods! The 7-day meal plan is one of the best I have seen. To give you an idea, you get 5 meals daily of delicious foods like whole grain bread, free range eggs, chicken breast, salmon, and even grass-fed beef. That was a real plus for me as I love red meat.
Cons of the Salvation Diet
The biggest con is that it is designed for Christians or people who are true believers. While that includes so many people who will be drawn to this program for that particular purpose, it also excludes radicals and atheists. If you are one of them, then this program is not designed for you.
Who is the Salvation Diet for?
If you are a Christian (anywhere in the world) who has faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and feels they could stand to lose some extra weight to become a better person and serve the world from a better place – this is for YOU! It is for men and women and even for entire families who want to share their devotion together. Every Christian knows they are not being the best they can be especially from a place of service when they are overweight, out of shape and riddled with disease. It is for believers who want to turn their life around and be better stewards so they can reap the benefits and also have others look up to them as faithful leaders in their own communities.
